MOMS RULE THE WORLD

@ashkae

There's nothing I love more than celebrating moms. They have the biggest, most important job in the world-- more important then any day job out there-- and our two moms manage to do it fabulously, no matter what life throws their way. They are so special to Bren & I!

As if I didn't brag enough about my mom on here, here is the latest of Angelic Ang. The day before Mother's Day we went to a shower together for my friend Kait. She got a nice Crate & Barrel waffle maker from someone and I told her later she'll be so glad she registered for nice appliances because we've gone through a few cheap waffle irons since we use one every Sunday! My mom must have overheard me or something because I got a text later that afternoon:

Who does these things?! ANG. She thinks of others before herself every single time. And she doesn't just do these things for her kids, she does it for everyone in her life.

And then my sweet mother-in-law. Terri is a step above the rest, and everyone knows it. She raised the best kids, and those kids LOVE her. Her grandkids love her even more. Every Sunday without fail she cooks a feast for everyone and anyone that will come and even though I know it is hours and hours of work for her, she has never once complained. She is always so stylish, so friendly to everyone, always has treats for all in her purse, and gives great advice. She truly does it all. GO TERR!

Oh and how about a shout-out to husbands that give wives that aren't moms yet the same Mother's Day treatment-- because it's the cutest thing ever. I wasn't expecting a thing so the flowers and my favorite perfume from Bren were extra adorable-- I was caught so off guard I weirdly cried. I promise I'm going to be one heck of a mom one day so watch out my little ones in heaven!

Moral of the story: MOMS RULE THE WORLD

Happy Mother's Day from my dad's famous street tacos (so my mom didn't have to lift a finger)--
